Editors Note: I found this book extremely interesting when I started
revising it into ebook format as it brought back pleasant memories
of Noel, the old master craftsman who was my woodturning instructor
many years ago. This book goes much further into woodturning than Noel
had time to take me as he passed away shortly after my last session, so I was his last student.
In my opinion this is an excellent, very well illustrated book on wood turning.
I particularly found the sections on Barley Sugar twists (spiral) turning and oval turning very informative.
There are numerous plans for turned items including
rolling pins, hammer & chisel handles, in fact there are so many
different project plans or templates it would take a lot of space to list them all.
